- Learn the seven basic notes, understand ragas , master basic talas, learn Carnatic notation, develop proper vocal techniques, practice simple ragas and phrases, and analyze the structure of a kriti. These fundamentals form the foundation of Carnatic vocal training.
- Prepare your vocal cords with warm-ups. Start with gentle sounds, increase intensity and range, and target specific vocal areas. Regular training improves flexibility, range, and stamina.
