You’ll learn articulation techniques like tonguing and slurring to create different sounds and accents. Additionally, you’ll practice controlling volume and expression, adding dynamics and nuance to your playing. Finally, you’ll be introduced to advanced fingerings, providing you with alternative techniques for navigating challenging passages and improving your overall efficiency.
- This module will focus on refining your rhythmic skills through the study of syncopation and complex rhythmic patterns. You’ll learn to play syncopated rhythms, which involve playing off-beats and creating rhythmic interest. Additionally, you’ll practice complex rhythmic patterns, challenging your ability to execute intricate rhythms with precision. To enhance your timing and precision, you’ll engage in targeted exercises that will help you develop a strong sense of rhythm and maintain a consistent tempo.
